Pregnancy & Postpartum Chiropractic care

Dr. Brooke Morphet is a Webster certified chiropractor, which is a specific technique designed to assist with balancing the pelvis during pregnancy. The Webster Technique involves gentle adjustments to the sacrum, and the surrounding ligaments and muscles. By improving the alignment and mobility of the pelvic joints, the Webster Technique can alleviate common pregnancy-related symptoms such as back pain, sciatica, and pubic pain. Additionally, the technique may help to optimize fetal positioning and reduce the likelihood of complications during childbirth.

Chiropractic care postpartum aids in correcting misalignments of the pelvis and low back which may occur during labor and delivery. Chiropractic care can be an effective form of treatment for postpartum parents. During pregnancy and childbirth, the body undergoes significant changes that can result in misalignments in the spine and pelvis. These misalignments can lead to discomfort, pain, and difficulties with breastfeeding and caring for a newborn. Chiropractors trained in prenatal and postnatal care can help to address these issues by using gentle and safe techniques to realign the spine and pelvis. This can alleviate pain and discomfort, improve postural alignment, and promote better overall health and well-being. Chiropractic care can be a valuable part of postpartum healthcare for moms who want to feel their best and enjoy their new role as a mother!

General Wellness Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care can be an important component of a wellness-focused lifestyle. Chiropractors are trained to identify and correct imbalances in the neuro-musculoskeletal system, which can affect overall health and well-being. Through gentle adjustments to the spine and other joints, chiropractors can improve range of motion, reduce pain, and promote proper nervous system function. In addition to addressing immediate health concerns, chiropractic care can have long-term benefits for overall wellness. Regular chiropractic adjustments can help to prevent future injuries, improve immune function, and promote better sleep and digestion. Chiropractors may also offer advice on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and other lifestyle factors that can contribute to optimal health. Overall, chiropractic care can help individuals achieve and maintain optimal health and wellness, allowing them to live their best lives.

TPI Assessment

A Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) assessment is a screening process that evaluates how your body moves and functions in relation to the golf swing. Rather than looking at your swing mechanics alone, a TPI assessment examines mobility, stability, strength, balance, and posture to identify physical limitations that may be affecting your performance or putting you at risk for injury. Common areas evaluated include hip and shoulder rotation, spinal mobility, single-leg balance, and core stability — all of which play a critical role in generating power and maintaining consistency throughout the swing.

As a TPI Level 1 certified provider, Dr. Nick uses these assessments to bridge the gap between physical function and golf performance. Once limitations are identified we can build a targeted plan combining chiropractic care, soft tissue work, and corrective exercises to address the specific issues holding back your game. The goal is simple: move better so you can swing better, play more consistently, and reduce your risk of injury.

Sports Chiropractic Care

Sports chiropractic is a specialized approach to musculoskeletal care that focuses on the unique demands placed on the bodies of athletes and active individuals. Unlike general chiropractic care, sports chiropractic incorporates a deeper understanding of biomechanics, sport-specific movement patterns, and the recovery and performance needs of people who train and compete at various levels. Treatment often goes beyond adjustments alone, incorporating soft tissue therapy, rehabilitative exercise, modalities, and functional training to address both the source of pain and the underlying movement dysfunction contributing to it.

As a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP), Dr. Nick completed specialized, sport-focused training beyond standard chiropractic education. This has given him the tools to more accurately evaluate athletic injuries, understand sport-specific demands, and design treatment plans that get athletes back to peak performance faster and more safely. This certification reflects an advanced understanding of exercise physiology, sports-related injury patterns, and on-field emergency care, allowing Dr. Nick to provide a higher level of care tailored specifically to active patients and competitive athletes. Sports chiropractic care is beneficial for any active individual, whether the goal is returning from injury, improving performance, or staying ahead of the wear and tear that comes with a demanding sport or training schedule.
